Although Cornerstone started in the hospitality industry, we see this model as working in many other community-oriented service sectors. A single franchisee EOT is encouraged to apply for franchises in different sectors, and we welcome and encourage enquiries from any sector.

Cornerstone Inns

Cornerstone has its origins in over 20 years of operating a variety of hospitality venues in the salt-mining towns of the Weaver Valley, earning multiple Publican Awards for Best Community Pub Operator and also being nominated for Best Pub Employer. Our sites range from traditional locals to a former Northwest Entertainment Pub of the Year, from a cask ale pub in the Good Beer Guide to a late-night music venue (formerly debees, now called the Hive). Originally they were all leased from major pubcos, but we led a community purchase of the Hive from Ei which was finally completed in January 2020, and are looking to bring at least two more of our existing pubs into community ownership within the next few months.
